The only means of human happiness in this life and salvation in the Hereafter is to fully follow the example of the Prophet (PBUH). Bangladesh Lawyers Council Secretary General Vishishta Matiur Rahman Akand made this comment in a discussion session organized on the occasion of Seeratunnabi (PBUH) on Wednesday.
With the efforts of Noakhali District Bar Lawyers Council, a discussion meeting was held on the occasion of Seeratunnabi (PBUH) at the local bar association auditorium on November 11 under the chairmanship of Advocate Moin Uddin Ahmed Khosru. Secretary General of Bangladesh Lawyers Council Motiur Rahman Akand was present as the Best Kutum.
In the speech of the chief guest, he said, "There is no alternative to follow the example of Rasool Karim (PBUH) in establishing peace and order in society along with the grace of this time in human life and freedom in the hereafter." Our community arrangement today is submerged in the coral grass of a dark jahiliyyah. Rape, robbery, corruption in the community has become epidemic. Wife is being raped in front of husband, mother is being raped in front of child and women and children are brutally killed after rape. Which defeated ignorance in Ayyam. To overcome this situation, it is not possible to prevent people from doing wrong by making laws only. It requires a strong moral character. And this is only possible by following the ideals of Rasool (pbuh) perfectly.'
Former President of Noakhali Bar Association BUM Kamrul Islam, Secretary of Lawyers Council Advocate Tajul Islam, Advocate Ismail Mahmud, eminent Mufassir of Quran Maulana Saifullah Munir, Maulana Mesbah Uddin and Maulana Khairul Alam Bulbul spoke at the Seerat Mahfil among others.
